Lottery
The lottery is an game wide system, in which the player gambles their ryo, in a small chance of winning a far greater amount of ryo.
To keep track of how much a player invests in a lottery, players are given tickets. Only 200,000 tickets can be purchased at the most. The entire pot of money is based
on the tickets bought.
Their are two types of tickets; Normal and Jackpot. Normal tickets cost 100 ryo per tickets. Jackpot tickets cost 300 ryo, which guarantees a lesser chance
of winning the lottery, but more money is rewarded.
Players are awarded money based on how many tickets are bought and which kind. There are 3 winners every draw. Draws occur occasionally, usually
a month. Their is a first place, second place, and third place winner. Based on the tickets they bought and was drawn, they win a certain amount of money.
Any of three winners can be jackpot winners, or normal winners, in which they are given different amounts of money. First place winner wins half of the money.
Second place winner is awareded 35%, and third place 15$. If the ticket chosen was a jackpot ticket, they are awarded three times the money they won.
Scenario
First place player wins 50% (500 ryo), second place player wins 35%(350 ryo), third place player wins 15%(150 ryo).
If first place player's ticket was a jackpot ticket, they win 1500 ryo. If second player's ticket was a jackpot ticket, they win
1050 ryo. If third place player's ticket was a jackpot ticket, they win 450 ryo. Any combination of the three jackpot or normal ticket possibilities are possible. Thus any combination of normal tickets and jackpots tickets drawn are possible.
